Art Appraisal

A question we are asked often is "What's it worth?" Valuing a work of art not only requires judging the quality of the art but also the market conditions for that piece of art.

As a service to our clients, we provide both verbal and written appraisal services. Verbal appraisals are recommended for those wanting an informal opinion of value at minimal expense. This can be particularly helpful when items are to be sold or donated. Written appraisals are mainly used for insurance purposes and are recommended for items of higher value or for estate purposes.

If something is outside of our area of expertise, we can assist you in finding an appraiser who practices in that particular field. Fees do apply to both verbal and written appraisal services. Please contact the gallery for more information.
